Agape Flights

Agape Flights is a non-profit Christian aviation ministry, ECFA accredited, based in Venice, FL. Agape Flights transports continuous and critical supplies to support over 370 missionaries, their families, and their unique missions. Since 1980, Agape is committed to serve the Good News of Jesus Christ through the missionaries it serves in Haiti, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas.

Susan has been serving as the CFO of New International since 2005. As CFO, Susan has led the mission through 18 years of growth as donations have increased from $1.5 million to over $7 million annually. She led New International through the membership process for ECFA, and under her leadership, New International has achieved the highest rating both from Charity Navigator and ECFA. She also serves on the Leadership team of NI and has been instrumental in leading the organization through many transitions and growth. She has a passion for prayer and supporting the missionaries serving globally with NI.

Bob aims to improve and develop the New International campus in Fort Myers. This includes two office buildings with seven tenants and 18 residential living units. The Center for Global Outreach provides training, development, and support for missionaries preparing to go to the field, as well as on going care for missionaries serving internationally. Bob desires to build a campus where missionaries feel welcomed and safe in high-quality living conditions so they may focus on their God given mission.

Impact Christian Campus Fellowship ministers with and to college students primarily on the campus of FGCU. Kerry Eastridge is the lead campus minister at FGCU and has been with Impact Campus Ministries since 2009. Impact seeks to lead students into a passionate pursuit of Jesus Christ. When this happens, Impact believes God will impact the university and world. Methods include a weekly Dinner and Devotion, one-on-one mentoring, Day Away With God retreats, and social and service events.

Caleb and Elena Elkins live on the outskirts of Edinburgh, Scotland in a small town called Oxgangs. They work with a local church plant, Oxgangs Community Church, alongside Scottish brothers and sisters to meaningfully engage the gospel within the community to “call Oxgangs to life.” They participate in weekly youth gatherings, intentional outreach to unbelievers, pastoral care, a weekly community meal, and preaching/teaching.

Ends of the Earth Cycling is an active bicycling community impacting youth globally. They give people who want to change the world opportunities to use cycling to bring the hope of the Gospel to global youth through multi-day, Christ-centered bicycling tours.

Far East Missions

FCC supports a family serving in East Asia who are working to equip cross-cultural messengers of the Gospel, who are sent from East Asia to other countries and to unreached tribes within their own countries. They are also involved in supporting the local church and evangelism with friends and neighbors. For security reasons, their names and photos are not included here. Please pray for them to be able to serve effectively in an environment that can be very challenging.

As part of Open Doors Libraries Glen serves as the Executive Director and Wendy as director of missionary care and partnership development coaching. They also serve as Regional Directors for the Middle East and portions of Africa for New International. ODL seeks to make disciples through the development of safe spaces (public lending libraries and community centers) where people can not only access and borrow Christian resources but also develop friendships that will open the door to the sharing of the gospel. It is ODL’s goal to plant the seed of the gospel in places where people are not usually open to gospel discussions or entering a church building. ODL currently operates four libraries in Berlin, Prague, Sacramento, and the Middle East. Prior to serving with ODL Glen and Wendy served for 17 years as church planters in the Philippines and for 14 years in various mission leadership and training roles in the USA.

Stephen serves with Sojourn Collegiate Ministry, which exists on college and university campuses across New England to invite students into discovering God’s dream for their lives. At Sojourn, you will find a group of people connecting around life’s big questions in a common pursuit of community, faith and justice. Steve Goodwin, who grew up attending FCC Fort Myers and partaking in the MOI youth program, is planting a campus ministry at the University of New Hampshire, adding a new region to Sojourn’s reach in New England.

Growing up in the urban area of Fort Myers, FL, Dwayne quickly realized basketball was the only way out of his circumstances. Through many trials and tribulations, Dwayne is here today to be a light in the community and to inspire youth.

Lake Aurora Christian Camp

Lake Aurora is a place to experience God’s creation and see lives changed. Established in 1947, the Lake Aurora campus has grown from 20 acres to 80 and is owned by 75 independent Christian churches of which First Christian Church is an owner and founding church. Designed originally as a youth summer camp, today it is a year round operation, serving guests from children to senior adults, including those with special needs. The summer camp program offers 29 programs during 9 weeks for campers ranging from 1st-12th grade. The non-summer months provide monthly programmed retreats for adults and families, while also offering its facilities for groups to create their own programs as Lake Aurora provides logistical support. There are opportunities for learning, reflection, and relationship building in an environment that reflects God's beauty and creativity in a natural setting while always striving to make the entire campus accessible to participants regardless of abilities.

Living Water Ministries

Living Water Ministries of the Palm Beaches has been taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people in the remote villages of Northwest Haiti for 35 years. LWM builds, supports, and maintains schools, clinics, and churches. There are 40+ Haitian workers on the Living Water monthly payroll such as Pastors, Teachers, Nurses, Campus Administrators, and Security Guards. Their 600 acre Campus located along the Northwestern coast of Haiti provides essential resources for the people in that region of the country.

Tim and Lorna serve in the Maasai community of Narok district where Tim coordinates church leadership training, education development, food and water security, health development, ministry to orphans and vulnerable children and income-generating projects. He is the director of AfricaHope and plans to expand AfricaHope's ministry and philosophy to other parts of Africa.

Kane Miller, with the help of his wife Liz, oversee the many facets of caring for the thousands of students on the campus of Florida State University as part of Christian Campus Fellowship. CCF is a community of college students from a variety of backgrounds who desire to further the reach of the Gospel at FSU. CCF, which celebrated its 50th anniversary at FSU in 2020, fulfills this mission through retreats, bible studies, and many other student events, all in an effort to live out its mission statement: “Devoted to Christ, Devoted to Campus.”

Matt now serves with Ends Cycling full-time as the Associate Director. Ends Cycling is an active bicycling community impacting youth globally. Matt & Jennifer want to give people, who want to change the world, opportunities to use cycling to bring the hope of the Gospel to global youth through multi-day, Christ-centered bicycling tours. Ends Cycling believes everyone deserves the same access to the Gospel, and are willing to go to the ends of the earth to see that vision fulfilled by the power of Christ.

Mike and Karen Osborn are former members of FCC and Mike served as an Elder while he served with New International. They joined Wycliffe Bible Translators in 2010 and have served in leadership positions at the JAARS mission center in Waxhaw, NC and also with Wycliffe US in Orlando, FL. They also served overseas in Scripture Engagement in the Torres Straight Islands of Far North Queensland Australia. Mike currently serves as Associate Director of Partnership Development for Wycliffe US – helping lead a team that mobilizes new missionaries.

David and Mara Pickering have served in cross-cultural missions since 2003. Mara’s Intercultural studies degree, and David’s background in Agriculture, has given them open doors to serve in hard to access countries across Eastern Europe and the Middle East. They have on the field experience in Disciple Making Movements and Church Planting. Multiple terms on field have given David and Mara valuable experience to serve as New International’s Directors of Missionary Resources and Care. Their heart is to help new cross-cultural workers get to the field, stay on the field, and to succeed in making an impact for the Kingdom. Together with their 3 children, they reside in Southwest Florida and serve at New International’s Center for Global Outreach in Fort Myers.

The Christian Medical Ministries (a.k.a. SWFL FREE PAIN CLINIC) exists to provide free medical treatment without the use of opioids to low-income, uninsured people who suffer from acute and chronic pain, using holistic principles and compassionate Biblical Christian values. They provide free medical and chiropractic care, acupuncture, physical and massage therapy, modalities such as E-stim, ultrasound, cold laser and tractions, and lifestyle education to treat patients’ pain at the source without the use of prescription pain medications. Since Hurricane Ian the clinic has also added treatment for mold (biotoxin) illness to their offered services, due to the rising number of cases post hurricane.

Tsvetan and Maia Stoitsev have been involved across Bulgaria in local church ministries for the past twenty-five years. They have two young adult children, Gogo & Nia who are active in art, music and sports. Five years ago, they began pastoring a local church with ten people. That church now has over eighty people and a thriving youth ministry. Tsvetan is now the Josiah Venture country leader in Bulgaria, taking the role after Gabriel Hillman, a long-time member of FCC. In this role they will continue shepherding the ministries alongside local churches, volunteers and full-time staff.

Thrive

Thrive is a non-profit founded in 1996 in Cape Coral as a safe haven for pregnant women and single mothers. Most young women arrive with a past of homelessness, hunger, trauma, substance addiction, violence and abuse. At Thrive, these young women are empowered with an education and career track designed specifically for them, equipping them with the tools to rebuild and redirect their lives, secure employment and provided for their family. To date, Thrive has served over 180 women and their children.

VERITY is a life affirming, gospel centered non-profit pregnancy medical clinic providing free services to those facing an unplanned pregnancy. Services provided are meant to help a young mom or couple see that there is help and hope and a way to choose life for their unborn child. Pregnancy testing, limited ultrasound and STI testing help give answers early in the pregnancy. Material assistant provides practical help, and classes in childbirth and parenting further prepare for unplanned parenthood. Verity also provides pregnancy support counseling, coaching for dads, and post abortive support through a Bible study.

Josh is a professional at using digital and printed materials to present the story of God's mission around the world. He has designed and printed hundreds of fliers, banners, newsletters, and so much more every year, sharing God's glory with the masses and telling the stories of NI’s missionaries around the world. From 2015 to 2020, Josh served with Ends of the Earth Cycling as their Lead Designer and Photographer. Now, Josh is back with the New International's Media Department, serving not just Ends Cycling, but the whole mission with his gifting in digital design and photography.
