Gifts of the Cross
If you sinful people know how to give good gifts…how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts…
-Jesus, Matthew 7:11
1) God’s Promise in the Soldier’s Spit (I will bear your dark side).
There is a dark side to humanity:
- Jeremiah 17:9
- Romans 7:15
- Romans 3:23
2) God’s Promise in the Nails (I will forgive you).
- Colossians 2:14
- Romans 5:6
3) God’s Promise in the Empty Tomb (Victory is ours too).
- Mark 16:6
- Luke 9:22
- Colossians 2:15
- Romans 8:38-39
Our Response: The promises of the cross are gifts worth sharing.
