Announcements

WE NEED YOU! We have several opportunities to serve here at FCC; some of the needs are immediate.

Coffee Café – We are in need of people to help serve in the lobby Café area. Duties would include picking up donuts at 8 AM and setting up the café, serving customers, restocking, and cleaning up. Please contact Tina in the office if you would be willing to work in this ministry.

Wednesday Night Dinner Clean Up Teams We need teams of 3-4 people willing to help clean up after dinner. Teams would put food/things away, wash remaining utensils, wipe down surfaces and take out the trash. If we had several teams, we could rotate them, and you would only have to serve in this ministry once a month. We will have a sign up sheet at the Events Counter. Sign up as an individual, family, or group. We will contact you for training before August 26.

Mission Trip Scholarships: If you would like to contribute towards a scholarship to help send someone else on one of our upcoming mission trips (late Summer-Haiti, Fall-Appalachia) please clearly mark “Mission Scholarship” on your check, envelope or online giving.

Hands of Jesus Ministry: Please fill out a request at the Events Counter to be considered by the approval committee, due to a high number of requests and a low number of “hands”. Thank you.

From this Day Forward Series: On September 6, we will be having a very special wedding/vow renewal service. If you are interested in renewing wedding vows, email Gary ASAP at gcox@fccfm.org for more information. You must be signed up by August 9 to participate.

BULLETIN

Mission & Ministry

The Mission- “All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. ”       2 Corinthians 5:18-20

The Plan- “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
