So Be It Women’s Conference – Tickets On Sale: Saturday, February 27 at 9 AM, Worship Center. Join us for a great time of learning and renewal with Wendy Fitzgerald, founder of the “If Then Movement”. Tickets are $20 for the conference and lunch, and are available today at the Women’s Ministry Counter in the lobby. This is a great opportunity to invite your friends who attend other churches! Edison Parade Seating: Tickets are available today in the lobby at the Student Ministry counter for $6. Get a front row seat at the Student Worship Center for the Edison Pageant of Light Parade on February 20. Tickets go FAST! Food prepared by our FCC Grill Team, snacks, and beverages will also be available for purchase. All proceeds will go towards events and activities in the Student Ministry. OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE:
Operation Inasmuch Day: This is our third year participating as a church family in this countywide effort, which culminates on March 5. There are several ways you can help:
Oil Collection: We will be collecting 5w30 & 10w30 oil for our next Car Care Event, which is March 5, at 8 AM. Stop by the Car Care display to donate or volunteer in the lobby next Sunday near the Children’s Ministry counter, or contact Margo Dean at firstname.lastname@example.org
Operation Foster Child: For the month of February, we will be collecting items for “We Care Packages” to be provided to children in foster care in SW Florida. This year we have a HUGE goal of making 150 bags, filled with amazing items for kids, sizes Newborn-10 years old. “Operation Inasmuch Day”: An effort of CityGate Ministries and area churches to serve our community – all taking place on March 5 this year. A Project List is also available under the stained glass window in the lobby including a clothing drive, painting projects, projects for kids, etc. For more information, call 239.334.7747.
Levites: We have an immediate need on the Levite Ministry Team. The 4th Monday of every month, we need either a couple or two people to remove the trash from all areas of the church and take it to the dumpster. It requires about one hour. New Men’s Thursday Morning Study: Starts this Thursday, February 18. We meet at 6 AM at the Perkins Restaurant located at 13620 N. Cleveland Ave, N. Ft. Myers. The materials are $10.
Men’s Survivor II: March 11-13, men 18 years and older. It will be you against the raw elements of Florida. We will leave Thursday night and return on Sunday about Noon. $40 per man. Email Gary for more details and/or to sign up at email@example.com.
Cornerstone Trip: September 28 – October 6, 2016, make your plans now to join us for an exciting trip to New York City! This trip includes Motorcoach transportation, lodging, meals, guided tours, and more. Price is $855/person, double occupancy. A $75 deposit is required to sign up. Did You Know . . . The Dollar Club is a special fund designed to assist our FCC Members with unexpected expenses caused by a major event (other than rent, utilities, etc). If you are in need of assistance, please pick up and return an application at the Events Counter. There is an independent panel of people who will review the application submitted. How can you help? Every week, all loose dollar bills in the offering go towards the Dollar Club. You can also place a dollar in with your offering and designate it to go towards the Dollar Club.
